Racing Jacket Sizing: How to Choose the Right Fit
Share
Ordering a jacket online without trying it on is the main source of doubt, and of returns. Here is how to choose the right size for our racing jackets in two minutes.
Our jackets run small
Our premium jackets have a warm full lining and inner pockets, and the cut is on the snug side. In practice, take one size above your usual size, especially if you wear a sweater underneath. If you are between two sizes, always take the larger one.
The simplest method: your height
The chart below already includes the size up:
| Your height | Jacket size to order | Chest up to |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 167 cm | M | 92 cm |
| 168 to 175 cm | L | 98 cm |
| 176 to 182 cm | XL | 104 cm |
| 183 cm and over | XXL | 110 cm |
Check with your chest
Height is the easiest guide, but build matters too. Wrap a tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits, over a T-shirt. If the result is above the figure for your size, take the next size up.
Wearing a sweater underneath?
That is when the size up matters most: the lining already takes up a little room. The chart above includes it, so never go below the size it gives you.
Still unsure?
Send us your height and chest measurement in cm and we will advise you. Chest over 110 cm? Contact us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether our XXL will fit.
